Rules
1. The Showdown will follow a one-fish weigh-in format.
2. Anglers must record a continuous video showing their fish, angler’s face, angler number, and surroundings. See video below.
3. Anglers may fish a maximum four-rod spread or less.
4. No boats, kayaks, or bayside fishing.
5. Fish must remain fresh. No frozen or bled fish.
6. The Kids Division does not require video submissions or an angler number.

At the Showdown weigh-in, we will also be weighing fish for The Upper Limit. The scales will not stop. One stop at the table can count for both tournaments.

Beach Wheels has officially come on board as a sponsor for our fall tournaments. They will be donating two complete sets of four beach wheels, including axles, ball bearings, and hardware. That is a serious prize package for any surf angler looking to upgrade a cart setup.

We have several first-time sponsors coming in, including Strike One Lures, Beach Wheels, Salter Co., and hopefully, fingers crossed, G.O.A.T. Carts. We also have rods coming from Assassin. This weekend puts us right in the heart of our spring pompano season and just a few days ahead of the April 20 full moon. We should have good tidal movement building throughout

APRIL 16–18, 2027
This weekend puts us right in the heart of our spring pompano season and just a few days ahead of the April 20 full moon. We should have good tidal movement building throughout the weekend as those spring pompano make their way along the Florida Panhandle. There are also no major holiday conflicts, and Friday, April 16 is currently scheduled as a student holiday for Escambia County Schools making this a great three-day weekend for families and our youth anglers.
